Luddenden circular

Luddenden Dean 8 mile circular walk from Mytholmroyd Train station

The walk starts on the arrival of the Bradford int.10:04, at Mytholmroyd 10:27
We take the path from the station along the River Calder, crossing Burnley road to climb up through Brearley wood to Midgely village. We follow the path up though Scotland (great views of the Calder valley) across the side of the moor and then down to Jerusalem Farm. We cross over Luddenden Brook and climb to Bank House where we cross fields & paths with stunning views down Luddenden Dale including the impressive Murgatroyd's Mill. We follow the brook past St Mary's Church & the Lord Nelson Inn. We take the Rochdale canal path back to Mytholmroyd and a drink in the Dusty Miller
