Workshop: How to add voice to mobile

Chadev is teaming up with Spokestack to present a voice for mobile workshop:

Now that smart speakers and mobile assistants are everywhere, have you ever wondered how voice interaction will affect the app landscape and what users will expect of their apps? We have too, so we decided to do something about it. Spokestack is a full-service suite of tools that make it easy for your app to both listen and talk, letting users interact with it however they want to, wherever they are.

In this workshop, we'll discuss the current state of voice technology and what led us to build Spokestack. You'll participate in a design session for a fictitious app looking to integrate voice control, and we'll discuss how to leverage Spokestack's features to make voice handoffs as seamless as possible. By the time we're done, you'll have a good idea of best practices for voice design, familiarity with some of its sticking points, and a simple voice-controlled app of your own.
