What we’re about
Whether you're completely new or have experience in voice acting, this is a safe place to relax, goof off, and practice the craft!
I figure playing visuals novels are a good way to start and get people involved, but I am of course open to suggestions for other games and activities!
This is basically my excuse to make voice actor friends irl, and I'm hoping some other people would like to as well! I'll create a discord server where we can plan events, geek out, and share VA stuff. I plan to have most communication through discord eventually, but we can still communicate over meetup if preferred.
I have no idea how large this demographic is, but I'm hoping around 2-6 people would be interested in attending each meet-up. Like forming a D&D group but for video games!
Important Notes:
- Some games contain mature themes, so this group will be 18+. Though it may seem silly, I'm wanting to make friends closer in age to myself (for context I'm in my 20s).
- Be respectful (we're here to support each other and have fun)
- I would love to meet other lgbtq+ folks & allies!
- Be Cringe. Be Free.
When & where we'll meet:
I aim to have the first event by May. It's taken a bit longer to set up. I've been debating on a good place to hold events where's it kinda socially acceptable to be loud and we can have our own little corner. Possibly a park, library, coffee shop, or mox boarding house. The ultimate goal is to have a steady group and if we're all comfortable eventually I will host it at my place. I do have cats.
