Yeah, maybe "placemaking" is the latest buzzword. But as Sacramento continues to grow and develop, a lot of new places -- from the flashy Kings arena down to the artsy benches in Roosevelt Park -- are considered symbols of the city's urban renewal and renaissance. Are they enough to benefit Sacramento as a whole? What's the real value in placemaking? And how can we create, revitalize and embrace these places to make this city a better place to work, play and live?
