Join the Nature Journalers as we search for some hidden bounty (๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ„) that should be popping through the leaf litter after last month's abundant rain!

Not feeling like scanning the leaf litter? The park and trail provides ample nature opportunities for observation - from oak trees, "holly berry" toyon, and birds!

Amenities:
Libbey Park has a bathroom and water onsite.
There are lots of food and shopping within walking distance of the park, in case you would like to extend your day in Ojai.
There will probably be a group of folks going out for lunch after nature journaling.

Bring:

  • Your journal and writing/drawing tools
  • water and snacks
  • Sun protection
  • something to sit on (there are a few benches in the park, but bringing a seat will open up more locations for observation).
  • (not required, but recommended) a camera

Parking advice:
Traffic slows down as you roll into the main part of town. It is also hard to find parking on the main strip. Avoid traffic and the pain of finding parking by parking along one of the side streets around Libbey park.
