We have some styles of Cha-no-yu for precious moment with you; workshop, demonstration, lecture, conference, experience, introduce, session, lesson, appreciation, catering... etc.
We also collaborate with the other cultures; Yoga, Zen, Food, Sashiko-sewing, Kimono-fashion, Design, Contemporary art, Performance and so on.
Feel Japanese spirit with Cha-no-yu (Japanese tea ceremony) and Japanese culture!
* Some of our regular meetups (sessions) require booking and payment in advance. The reason why is that we would like to be sure your presence for respecting all the guests and preparing for you with all host’s heart, and to concentrate on the moment of tasting and the taste of the tea without thinking about externalities in the tea ceremony room. Cold-brewed Gyokuro: the highest quality of Japanese green teaDue to its recent popularity, it has become increasingly difficult to acquire genuine matcha, but some special authentic matcha has now arrived at SAIAN tea ceremony from Uji, the premier place for matcha in Japan.
While hot matcha is usually served at the tea ceremony, this time, to enjoy the summer season, cool and light matcha will be offered in the SAIAN tea ceremony style with Japanese sweets from Kyoto.
Additionally, you will enjoy a tasting of a cup of cold-brewed Gyokuro from Uji, the highest quality of Japanese green tea.
Savour genuine Japanese tea and a moment in the SAIAN tea ceremony room!
* Please take off your shoes and your accessories and remove your manicures in the tea ceremony room.
