Retirement is a journey with real stages, real emotions, and real plot twists. In this session, we’ll explore the four stages of retirement, reflect on where you may be in that journey, and discover how common its ups and downs can be. You’ll connect with others navigating the same transition and share perspectives on what makes this chapter both challenging and rewarding.

This is a one-hour standalone discussion., and a preview of our four-session small-group series for those who would like to explore each stage more deeply.

#### What to Expect

• Together, we’ll discuss the four stages of retirement. Do they resonate with you? Where do you see yourself?
• This is a discussion, not a lecture. There will be space to share and listen, and you’re invited to participate in whatever way feels comfortable.
• Our facilitator, Tracye, a professional life coach, will keep the conversation flowing, focused, and worthwhile for everyone.

Join us for a fireside chat with Karen, a retired nurse who found a new purpose in her next chapter, one vintage dish at a time.

After 38 years in nursing, Karen retired earlier than she'd planned and wasn't sure what would come next. She turned a longtime love of vintage dishes into a booth at an antique mercantile, with no retail experience and no business plan. What started as a six-month experiment became, in her words, "cheaper than therapy," and brought her creativity, a reason to keep learning, and a new community.

In this fireside chat, Karen will share how she navigated the transition out of a long career, how she found her footing after those first uncertain months, and why she believes there's "more to retirement than a recliner life." Come hear her story, and we'll leave plenty of time for your questions as well.
