There's a letter inside each of us that is waiting to be written: Thank you, I’m sorry, I forgive you, I've been meaning to tell you..." and more. Perhaps it is to a child, a partner, an old friend, a new friend, a parent, an ex, or even to our future self, yet somehow we never quite find the time or the words.
In this hands-on workshop, we'll take the time and make the space to write these letters.
Frish Brandt is a "letter midwife" who has been helping people find their words for the past 12 years. In this workshop she will guide us through the art of the lasting letter: a note written now, meant to carry your voice forward across time and distance. With gentle prompts, conversation, and quiet writing time, she'll help us each to uncover what we want to say and to whom, while helping us find the words.
No preparation is necessary. You don't even need to know who you are writing to or what it is about. The process of this workshop is full of welcomed surprises which helps us both who we are writing to and why. Come with an open mind, and leave with an open heart.
This is a hands-on session: please have paper and something to write with within reach.
Please note: This is a camera-on discussion — please join by video with your camera on for the session.
