The Italian island of Sardinia has more than six times as many centenarians as mainland Italy, and ten times as many as North America. Why? According to award-winning psychologist and longevity researcher Susan Pinker, it isn't sunshine or a low-fat diet. It's the emphasis Sardinians place on close personal relationships and daily face-to-face connection.

We're honored to welcome Susan for an intimate conversation with the Chapter Community. Her TED talk has been viewed by millions, and her book The Village Effect argues that in-person contact predicts how long and how well we live as reliably as diet and exercise. She'll speak directly to this stage of life, when the everyday "village" can quietly shrink just as it matters most.

Spots are limited: To encourage dialogue, we're keeping the room small. Attendance is capped at 50 members, with time set aside for your questions.

This is a camera-on discussion: Please plan to join by video.
