Annual Death & Dying Day (Free Event, 1st November, London, UK)

Death & Dying Day 2025
We would like to invite you to join us for our annual event, "Death and Dying; A Celebration of Life Through Reflection on Death", organised by the Kagyu Samye Dzong London (KSDL) Bardo Group. The Bardo Group have run these events since 2017, and this year we will have another full programme of events with speakers from various professions talking about their experience around death and dying.
There will be a space set aside for contemplation, as well as a coffin exhibition, and we will be lighting butter lamps for the deceased and loved ones, with dedications and prayers to end the day. It is a place to share ideas and practical advice on death and dying. You are welcome to come along for all or part of the programme.
Our Tibetan Tearoom will be open throughout the day for teas, coffee, cold drinks, and light snacks, including a hot lunch from 1pm on a first come basis.
This is a free event and there is no need to book in advance. However, if you wish to make a donation on the day towards the running costs of the Centre that is always welcome. If you would like to support the centre with a donation, you can do so via the following link. All contributions are deeply appreciated: Donate here
