Summer is here and it’s hot! To preserve ourselves for the goose-tacilar family reunion we’ll be having from 27-29 July, we’re going to slow down to the speed of our favorite DFLs and mosey to some picnic tables for a couple of hours.

Drinks and crafts are BYO, but the hare will likely have some coloring books and crayons to share (but not for eating!). There may even be a jug of something to pass around but no promises.

Ideas for crafts include small sewing projects (so many patches to add to your Hapi, amirght?), coloring, brain teaser like crosswords, small lego sets, etc etc

Location: Fox Shelter Parking lot, McDowell Nature Preserve

Trail Type: A to A (From your vehicle to the picnic table and back)

Turds: Friendly socialized turds welcome!
(Please keep them on a leash, pick up after them if they make turdlettes, and check the days temperature in case it’s too hot for them)

What to Bring: ***BYOB***, vessels, arts & craft supplies, probably sunscreen / bug spray, and a thirst for creativity!
