Retirement Planning: It's Never Too Early or Too Late to Start!
It's never too soon or too late to start planning your retirement! Join Angelica Figueroa, a certified financial coach from Sharonview Federal Credit Union as she takes a look at how retirement has changed through the years, helps attendees estimate how much they may need to retire, review their current efforts, examine the tools available to them, and help them develop an investment strategy to pursue their goals.
This program will be facilitated by Independence Regional Library staff.

Registration Information

Audience: Teens and Adults

Dr. Minwoo Lee, a professor in the Department of Computer Science at UNCC will cover the current state of artificial intelligence and machine learning. How can advances in machine learning boost human productivity, advance scientific discovery, and improve student learning and education? Alternatively, will A.I. and machine learning lead to major disruptions in the workplace and ultimately pose a threat to mankind?

This program will be provided by Teen Services library staff at the Matthews Branch Library.
