Free RPG Day Festival

Interested in an afternoon of gaming and engaging with your local community? Drop by to celebrate Free RPG Day! Join us for the day with a panel discussion, literacy activities, board games, tabletop role-playing games (TTRPG), workshops, and so much more.

Kick off the day with our panel discussion on creating inclusive gaming spaces. Our panelists will be answering questions "jeopardy-style" to educate participants on the the Charlotte gaming community, ways to build inclusive environments and the reasons to engage diverse representation in games. Panelists will include representative from local gaming groups including: Black Gamer League, The Gaming Lounge, Athena Alliance CLT and UNC Charlotte's International Game Developers Association.

Registration for TTRPG sessions is now available! Sign up through the individual listing or explore the whole schedule here.

Individuals must register for a TTRPG session to participate. There may be spots available for registration on the day of the event, but it is not guaranteed.

Drop-in for activities in our Video Gaming Area, Makerspace, Community Partner space and more!

All participants will be able to enter a giveaway for exclusive Free RPG Day items and other prizes in our Community Partner space.
