Did you know that saving seeds helps protect and enhance biodiversity? Seed saving is a way to preserve and protect our horticultural heritage and allows you to retain plant varieties that are well adapted to your area. By seed saving each year, plants become more dependable by adjusting to their surroundings. In contrast, purchased seeds do not have any genetic or biological familiarity with the ecosystem.
Join us at SouthPark Regional Library as Elizabeth of Tomorrow's Garden Garden instructs us on how to save seeds from the plants in our gardens. Learn about seed saving and storage to prep you for the next growing season. You’ll get to take some seeds home!
