This group is for people who genuinely enjoy medium-to-heavy strategy board games—Euros, engine-building, economic systems, asymmetric designs, and other games where decisions matter and reward thoughtful play over time. We are people who enjoy learning systems and exploring strategy, and appreciate the depth these games offer.

We want to provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all who want to give their best and enjoy the game. No need to be an expert or worry about winning, just enjoy the process of learning and thinking through games. If you like discovering better strategies, understanding how mechanics interact, and seeing your decisions pay off across a session, you will fit in well here.

Board Game Nights
I want us to host consistent recurring game nights to be a place to hang out and enjoy a variety of board games with fun, welcoming people.

To encourage dedicated enthusiasts to come out, I will be anchoring game nights with a game and ask for RSVPs for that game, but you are free to come out to spectate or host and join adhoc games without an RSVP. Please feel free to announce and coordinate other games in any event's comments sections! And if there's time remaining in the night after the first game, people are always down to mix into new groups, so feel free to post a comment saying what you'd like to bring and play.

RSVP
Consistency matters—games and social groups require committed people. If you RSVP, please plan to attend.

Repeated no-shows without communication may result in removal from the group so that spots remain available for other who want to participate.

If you cannot or will not make it, please update your RSVP in a timely manner and send us a quick message when able. We know life is unpredictable. The goal is reliability, not perfection.

Social Club
A secondary goal of this group is to establish a dedicated clubhouse for tabletop games, a place to drop in whenever to find like-minded people to play games with. This dream requires a community of people to just show up and enjoy playing games together.
