What we’re about
The purpose of the group is to have fun while improving our skills at playing ukulele. The group is open to all skill levels and there should be something for everyone. Our playout sets are found on ukeeducation.org under lead sheets. We're currently meeting at Meadows Presbyterian Church on the 4th Thursday of each month.

See all- June CUUL JamMeadows Presbyterian Church, Charlottesville, VA
"June is bustin' out all over ... " -- at least for those of old enough to remember Rodgers & Hammerstein's acclaimed musical, Carousel!
Actually, our June CUUL jam will take place on Thursday, June 26th and continue our current bimonthly tradition of playing out of Jim Beloff's new PURPLE Daily Ukulele songbook! A bunch of the regulars have already purchased this recently-released uke songbook, and we've enjoyed exploring some new jams. Consider purchasing one from amazon, or just show up and there will certainly be folks willing to share!
We meet at Meadows Presbyterian Church from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Park in the side parking lot and plan to enter through the double doors at the front of the church.
Our normal practice is to gather in a circle and take turns selecting songs for the group to play and sing together, either from the songbook or from music folks have brought with them. There's no obligation to either choose or lead songs; other folks are happy to help where needed, and a good time is sure to be had by all!
