September CUUL Jam

Our September monthly jam session with the theme, “Uke Light Up My Life” will be held Thursday, September 28th*. We’ll be playing and singing out of a beginner-friendly songbook featuring songs from the three historical eras of uke popularity. A bonus benefit from our September session is that the songbook will serve as a setlist for a Saturday afternoon concert at Martha Jefferson House!*

The songbook is available here, but we're also hoping folks will bring their own contributions to share. Please also bring a copy of the Yellow "Daily Ukulele" book, as we'll be playing selections from that as well.
We'll be meeting at Meadows Presbyterian Church from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Park in the side parking lot and plan to enter through the double doors at the front of the church.

Our normal practice during our monthly jams is to gather in a circle and take turns selecting songs for the group to play and sing together. There's no obligation to either choose or lead songs; other folks are happy to help where needed!

Participants are welcome (and encouraged!) to bring additional songs to play together. Simply print 10-12 copies (we share :) and bring 'em along!
