August CUUL Jam

Alas, the end of Summer ... the beginning of the school year ... and the time to jam out of the purple book!

Our August CUUL jam will take place on Thursday, August 28th. We'll be playing out of the "Purple Book," the third installation in Jim Beloff's "Daily Ukulele" set of songbooks. If you've got one, bring it! If you haven't, what a great opportunity to share with someone else and make new friends! Also, if you have a song or two you'd like to introduce to us, bring 10-12 copies along and we'll have at it. We're always looking to learn and play new songs!

We meet at Meadows Presbyterian Church from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Park in the side parking lot and plan to enter through the double doors at the front of the church -- the room is on the right.

Our normal practice is to gather in a circle and take turns selecting songs for the group to play and sing together, either from the songbook or from music folks have brought with them. There's no obligation to either choose or lead songs; other folks are happy to help where needed, and a good time is sure to be had by all!
