October CUUL Jam

Our October CUUL jam will take place on Thursday, October 23rd from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Meadows Presbyterian Church.

This month we're going back to the "Yellow Book," the first installation in Jim Beloff's "Daily Ukulele" set of songbooks. If you've got one, bring it! If you haven't, what a great opportunity to share with someone else and make new friends! We also encourage folks to introduce new songs to the group, and if you'd like to do so, please bring 10-12 copies along and we'll have at it. We're always looking to learn and play new songs -- and Halloween is right around the corner!

We meet in the Fellowship Hall at the aforementioned Meadows Presbyterian Church on Angus Road. Park in the side parking lot and plan to enter through the double doors at the front of the church -- the room is on the right.

We normally gather in a circle on the 4th Thursday of each month and take turns selecting songs for the group to play and sing together, either from the songbook or from music folks have brought with them. There's no obligation to either choose or lead songs; other members are happy to help where needed. We play a variety of songs of all levels, and most assuredly, a good time will be had by all!
