February CUUL Jam

Our February CUUL jam will take place on Thursday, February 26th from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Meadows Presbyterian Church. The theme will be "Cowboy and Country Songs" and you're encouraged to download the songbook here.

If you're not a big country fan, we'll also be playing out of the "Yellow Book," the first installation in Jim Beloff's "Daily Ukulele" set of songbooks. If you have a copy, please bring it along -- if not, other folks will certainly share! We also encourage folks to introduce new songs to the group, and if you'd like to do so, please bring 10-12 copies along and we'll have at it. We're always looking to learn and play new songs!

This month, we'll be meeting in one of the downstairs rooms at the aforementioned Meadows Presbyterian Church on Angus Road. Park in the side parking lot and plan to enter through the single door at the very right of the building -- we'll be in the classroom on the left.

We normally gather in a circle on the 4th Thursday of each month and take turns selecting songs for the group to play and sing together, either from the songbook or from music folks have brought with them. There's no obligation to either choose or lead songs; other members are happy to help where needed. We play a variety of songs of all levels, and most assuredly, a good time will be had by all!
