Join us at CD tech for a brief presentation and introduction of an excellent opportunity for aspiring technical professionals!

Please welcome Rachel Grundy from the advisory board for Apprenticeship Works, which partners with employers to build registered apprenticeships alongside the Dept. of Labor. The appreniceships are fully paid, and lead to formal certifications and career progression. They provide a few different tech pathways, but have a new accelerator training program focused on quantum computing skills.

Apprenticeship Details:

Full-Time Job (40 hours per week).
$25 per hour is the starting wage with the opportunity to increase to $30 per hour (with demonstrated skill gains).

An award-winning local IT company is the employer for the apprenticeship program.
Must be a fast and enthusiastic learner!

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must have some prior IT skills and/or training. This is not a position for someone who has no prior experience. For example, successful candidates must know how to:

Resolve Microsoft 365 issues (permissions, mailbox behaviors, Teams troubleshooting, OneDrive sync conflicts, etc.)
The ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues (VPN, DNS, DHCP lease issues, Wi‑Fi instability)
Use of a ticketing system to handle requests and resolve outstanding issues.
Communicate clearly and effectively with customers experiencing technical issues.
