THE TRAIN RIDE IS NOW SOLD OUT. BUT This event has a lot more to it than just the train ride. We would love for you to join us for the winery, cidery and dinner after the train ride. For those that join this event that don't get the opportunity to ride the train, you all can shop around downtown Blue Ridge which is full of fun little shops and hang out together. We will then reconvene together for dinner.

The Blue Ridge Mountains are one of my favorite places to be, especially in the Fall. Seeing the leaves in all their glorious shades and feeling the crisp air. Enjoying some cider and a fried pie. And it will be even sweeter to do this with friends.

October is the best time of year to see the gorgeous foliage. There is another event for all the hikers in our group on this same day, but I am hopeful this event will appeal to other's who can't attend that event. It is a day to spoil yourself, because you deserve it!

This will be an event good for family. I likely will have my teen with me because she has also been really wanting to make this ride.

We will meet at Bear Claw Vineyards. This place looks rustic and has a great outdoor space to sit and enjoy company.

I will be making another stop at Mercier Orchards. It would be almost illegal to be in Blue Ridge and not get a million fried pies and cider to take home.

We will then head to Blue Ridge Scenic Railway and take the 2-hour trip.
Please buy your tickets as soon as you can.

I am getting an open-air ticket on Car 114.

We will end with dinner. Depending on how many participants we have, we may alter dinner location. As of now, I am very interested in going to
The Black Sheep

In between the train ride and dinner, we may choose to wander around downtown a bit. This is a relaxed day in a gorgeous town. It will not be rigidly scheduled.

But it will be fun, tasty, beautiful, serene and full of laughter and friends enjoying life together.
