"What's in a name? That which we call a rose / By any other name would smell as sweet" (Romeo and Juliet, Act 2, Scene 2).

Juliet said that. The question no-one asks is was she referring to smelling Romeo? Hope he had a bath. This was Renaissance period where regular bathing was considered once a week. So hopefully he had just stepped out of the tub and the water wasn't cold. You want to make a good impression. Oh, and smell good too.

Names are interesting. Romeo actually was a term derived from the latin Romaeus referring to pilgrims heading to Rome.

Snoop Dog and Snoopy in the picture? Snoopy was originally going to be named Sniffy. What's with all the smelling people? Where was sniffy sniffing? Anyways, Schultz remembered when he was a child his mother saying if they got another dog they should call him Snoopy. Snoop Dog? His mother thought he looked like Snoopy so she started calling him Snoopy. "hey son, you looked like a dog". Positive reinforcement.

So what's with the name Snoopers Rock? Sometimes you never know where something gets its name, but I know this one. The Revenuer's used to go up to the rock because of its view and the acoustics. They could look down into the Valley and see and because of the acoustic they could hear the moonshiners in the Valley below.

Let's do the Snoopers Rock Trail.

After? We grab a burger or some other food at Merv's. Fun Fact! The kids don't know how the restaurant got its name. The grandparent never told them and no one was named anything close to Merv. Hopefully Juliet wasn't sniffing Merv although he would've smelled like a hamburger. She might of left Romeo for Merv if she liked food. Merv & Juliet a romance for the ages.

"But smell, what scent through yonder restaurant breaks? It is the Merv's Burger, and Juliet wants fries with that." — Merv & Juliet Act 2, Scene 2
