Wreath Removal-Chattanooga National Cemetery, Brunch After
Details
First, Photo Credit to Sunny. She was there for the wreath laying with us and these were taken on this day. She always has some great pictures.
I posted a New Years thing on our Facebook and someone called it in a text to me an E-novel. Someone else in the actual post a novel...
Maybe I should be brief. There is a quote on it I think.
"Brevity is the soul of lingerie"- Dorothy Parker
No that's not it. Let me google again.
"Brevity is the sister of talent" Anton Chekhov
No that guy was pretty succinct. I am more of a Tolstoy or Dostoevsky.
"Brevity is the soul of wit" William Shakespeare
Yep, that's the one
So I will keep this one short. I am taking a large part of January off to recharge. I will probably do some off book hiking and other activities with a few people, but not posting a lot fo events. Hopefully some others will post some stuff (Hint Hint)
This one is different. I want to do this.
It is the Wreath removal for the wreaths we placed at the National Cemetery.

Here are the basics.
Meet at the Arch. I will put another one of Sunny's pictures of it up in the photos. I think I adjusted the pin in the directions to the right place if you click on that.
Parking is tough. Find a spot wherever you can.
Bring work gloves if you have them and a broomstick or rope. The purpose them is to string up multiple wreaths to carry to the curb. I am bringing my hiking poles.
Comfortable clothes to work in and the physical ability to do so.
After we go up to Outpost for a meal together and visit.
Here is their website.

Then go have fun on your own I am as I said going very light on events this month. Maybe other hosts will host stuff. Hin,t Hint
