Be among the first in the group to experience a new hike!
It's a "scouting hike" because I've only been on part of this trail (on a mountain bike years ago). If it's good, I'll post it as a larger hike in the future. The trail continues beyond what I've mapped, so we can decide as a group to keep going, or return after reaching the summit.

What to expect:

• A consistent, fairly steep ascent
• Maybe wide trails (horse trails)
• Maybe views along the way and at the top
• It will be a workout!

What to bring:

• Hiking shoes
• Layers of warm clothing
• Hat and gloves
• Poles (optional)
• Plenty of water
• Lunch
• Snacks/a source of quick energy

Weather:
Hiking in cold rain can be problematic for those not properly equipped. To include everyone, hike may be rescheduled due to weather.
