🏕️ Relaxed Camping Weekend @ Thunder Rock Campground (Cherokee National Forest)

✨ Important note on logistics:
This is a pretty casual, DIY-style trip. I’m planning to go camping and wanted to open it up in case others want to join 🙂

Everyone will be responsible for their own setup—so bring your own tent, food, and gear, and plan/book your own campsite.

Of course we hangout together, hike and we will have meals together.

🌲 What to expect:

• Easygoing tent camping in a scenic forest setting
• Access to great hiking (Benton MacKaye Trail + Tanasi trail system)
• Bone fire 🔥
• Good conversation, and downtime
• Optional card games / chill hangouts in the evening

🥾 Hiking:
I plan to do a 6 mile hike on Saturday!

🚿 Amenities:

• Bathrooms + hot showers available
• Campsites have fire rings + picnic tables

⛺ What to bring:

• Tent + sleeping gear
• Food + water
• Layers (it can get chilly at night)
• Headlamp/flashlight
• Camp chair (recommended)
• Optional: card games / snacks to share
