Brew & Cue Music Bingo
Details
I love Dive bars. When I was younger left with a friend around 7:30 a.m. in the morning to see a Georgia Football game. Left the car way on the other side of town. Left the game. My friend was convinced we would run into somebody and they would give us a ride back to his car. We stopped at every Dive bar for a beer. Made many a friend. Stopped at a Hooters because it was the classiest place around. Finally made it to his car. We plugged in our long-dead phones. His rang instantly. It was his wife wanting to know where we were. I am not sure what the big deal was. It was only 11:30 p.m.
It's music bingo at a Redneck Dive Bar. Ladies, you could meet your Sugar Britches, tater bug, cornbread, stump jumper, or just a plain old-fashioned good ole boy. Guys, there might be a Sugar Dumplin, Tater Tot, Daisy Duke, or a mud queen there for you too.
Brew & Cue says they sprinkled some Brew Dust on the Music Bingo to make it even better. They list themselves as a local dive bar and grill at the TN/GA state line. Pool, darts, music, karaoke, food, friends & fun!
A quick Google search indicates we are only 140 miles from where Deliverance was filmed. We will be fine, I think. I am betting there will be a lot of Southern rock bands from back in the day like Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Charlie Daniels Band, and ZZ Top
Fun fact: the name Lynyrd Skynyrd is a play on the name of a gym teacher, Leonard Skinner, who used to give the band members a hard time for their long hair.
A quick Google search reveals the health score on the place is a 93, which is way too high for a dive bar, but maybe the food will be good anyway.
Music Bingo, Dive bar, Pub food, darts, pool, and me. Pretty much a perfect evening, but I am classy like that.
Hey, it is either hit the dive bars with you guys or go out on a date to someplace nice. This is cheaper for sure and more exciting. What's the worst thing that can happen?
I just googled that worst thing stuff. Only one Shooting, one stabbing, and one Beer Board fine. Years apart on all of those incidents. So the place is mostly safe. Mostly. Still safer than the other.
I looked at their events. They also have a Sunday Brunch with Biscuits and Gravy, Scrambled eggs, Pancakes, and Hashbrown casserole. Also a Taco Tuesday with $1 Tacos, $2.50 Coronas, & $3.00 Modelo's. A Thursday Karaoke night with Mile High Nachos.
So if we like the place, we might do that other stuff there. Looking at the menu, it should be fine if it gets kind of stabby. Your arteries will already be too clogged to bleed out, so you will be fine.
