Crack of Dawn, Coffee, Church, COA Hike, and Chicken (ends bad for the bird)

I moved the day so it is not Mothers day

I used a lot fo C's in the title.

So I am going to try something completely different from what we have done in the past.

I realize this one may not be for everyone. I just want to see how this one goes. Might be sitting in the back by myself, but what the hell? Can I say that in a church post?

I respect that it isn't for everyone.

Here's the deal. I have not scheduled a lot of Sunday hikes because I have found a church I really like. It is very very laid back. I thought I would combine things and mix it up a bit.

Come to Church dressed to hike. Not one single person will care. Trust me (usually don't trust me, but this time trust me). To promote our rag tag band of people's togetherness we will sit in the back center. It isn't like we will be front and center. I will have shorts a T-shirt and my pre hike wear to the trail before changing to my boots Chaco's. If I can do it so can you.

I will be out front before the service and in the middle are in the back during the service.

It is early as can be, but they have coffee. Lots of Coffess

After we go on probably one of my last hikes until the fall. It gets to hot and I am a delicate flower. It isn't far away and a pretty easy hike.

I mean I am going to plan some tubing and Kayak stuff. It won't be boring.

Then as we always do we eat. A Sunday Fried Chicken late lunch. Because this a southern thing to do and this Damn Yankee (should I say that in a church post?) wants to get his Southern residency card Y'all!

So go to bed early and get out of bed early. Meet me there in hiking clothes. I realize pretty early plus church doesn't make me look like the modest marketing genius I am, but give it a try.

After I am probably grabbing a shower and a nap. I will see if my scrabble partners want a rematch after the nap from Sunday...
