Chattanooga Public Library’s Write and Chatt, a Creative Writing Group
Details
Join us for a supportive creative writing group, sponsored by the Chattanooga Public Library. Every month we have a different theme to guide our writing. We talk, we write, we share.
April is National Poetry month, so of course this month's theme is Poems. I've recently come across a new type of poem, a cento, that we will try. It's challenging, but it might yield some nice results. Of course, poems and poetry of any kind is welcome!
Learn more about cento poetry here -- https://www.poetryfoundation.org/education/glossary/cento
No purchase is necessary, but feel free to order something to eat or drink while we are there. Adelle's Creperie (400 E Main St.) has great food and delicious coffee!
This group is for adults age 18+. Bring your creativity and come write with us!
We normally meet the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month, from 12 - 1:30.
