Coming together regularly to play chess, We generally meet on Monday evenings, games are classified as 'competitive social' with a friendly & laidback attitude. We are sponsored by the Paragon Hotel & have free tea & coffee for each member and we have cosy comfy booths to enjoy playing & watching in. General format for the club nights: Early (6-7ish): workshops, chats, technique talk, tutoring Main (7-9ish): casual mixed games As the club grows we will start possibly rolling out some casual tournaments & timed matches, and employ the ranking system just amongst our club members.
