In China today, where you are born determines your educational prospects and therefore life opportunities. Affluent urban centers spend up to five times as much educating students compared to low-income municipalities while early education and foreign language resources are almost unheard of outside of major cities. If education is the key to escaping poverty, then millions of children in China face daunting if not impossible odds.
To spark innovations and encourage social entrepreneurship in the field, we are hosting a Spark:Her Startup Academy focusing on “Innovation in Education.

Join a Spark:Her Startup Academy “Innovation in Education”!

The Spark:Her Startup Academy is a special program for women to explore and develop business ideas that address social and environmental problems in China. It is especially for women who have the motivation to make it happen in the future – but are not fully ready yet. Through experiential learning, exchange with passionate peers and engagement with leading experts participants will gain the vision, confidence and skills to turn their ideas into a successful venture.

The key objective is to support women to identify their passion, clarify whether they want to become an entrepreneur and provide them with the knowledge how to start a social enterprise.

If you are passionate about education or potentially want to improve on a education business idea you currently have, register now!

Who should attend?
You might have 10 different ideas how to improve education in China and don’t know which to choose to start up. Or you have the strong desire to improve education but you might not know yet how yet how you can get involved with your skills and expertise.

Why join?
The key objective is to support women to identify their passion, clarify whether they want to become an entrepreneur and provide them with the knowledge how to start a social enterprise.

Spark: 创业学院是一个量身定制的社会创新计划，召集来自私营和公共部门的优秀女性，通过体验式学习，帮助她们获得以创新手法解决21世纪的社会和环境问题所需的 知识、技能、信心和社群。最重要的是，你将接触到社企所面临的现实挑战，并有机会一展拳脚、学以致用。

学院的主要目标之一在于帮助女性发现自己的热忱所在，认清自己是否能够成为企业家，并给她们提供创办社会企业所需的知识。

谁来参加？（参加培训人数40人）

想通过创业来解决社会问题，有许多创业想法但不知道如何抉择、如何开始的女性。或是十分期望通过自己的技能和专长来解决社会问题，却不知如何参与到社会事业中来的女性。这次活动只针对女性，不接受男性报名参加，没有性别歧视。

培训师: Andrea Lane - 执行主任, FYSE芳新

Andrea Lane,英国布里斯托大学(University of Bristol)东亚研究专业硕士,曾参加欧洲工商管理学院社会企业家国际项目(INSEAD’s International Social Entrepreneur Program), 2011年被选为全球企业家精神论坛(Global Entrepreneurship Forum)会员,2012年获得女性社会领导力——职场领导者大奖( Women Social Leadership Awards Leaders in the Workplace Category)。 2008 年, Andrea 在中国创办了 FYSE, 并把它逐步发展成为 10 个亚洲国家的社会企业家提供服务和帮助的地区性组织。在创办FYSE之前, Andrea曾就职于英国、印度尼西亚、孟加拉、马拉西亚、中国香港等地的NGO和初创型企业。
