Welcome to the next level after “Beginners Getting Better”! This 2 hour session is for the player who is looking for specific guidance toward becoming a solid Intermediate Player. You’ve got control of your serve, forehand and backhand, you know basic strategies and court positioning, but you want to take your game up a notch.

First 45 minutes will be spent on a specific concept or two, second 75 minute portion players will engage in actual games to put those concepts into action with the guidance of your instructor Marc H.

We need 4 players to sign up in order to hold this session. Be sure to check the night prior to see if it's still "on"!

It’s not necessary to be a member of CHHRC in order take a clinic.

UPPER Intermediates CLINIC

Mondays 6-7:30pm

True upper Intermediate players looking to make the jump to advanced play.

~Participants must have a solid grasp of rules, strategy, positioning as well as the ability to consistently perform the full complement of skills listed below in both games and drills alike:
*Dinks
*Serves
*Ground strokes
*Volleys
*Drops
*Resets

This 90 minute clinic/session is comprised of drills and skills during the first part that are geared toward developing the skills listed above, positioning and strategies.

Examples include - speed ups, lobs and retrievals, spins, when to drop or drive - and resetting and attacking applications.

The second part will be dedicated to game play.

Located in the bubble on courts 1 and 2, no need to check in at the front desk of the main building.

We need at least 4 players signed up in order to hold this session.

Drill & Play Clinic

Lower Intermediate Skill Level

The first 45 minutes of this session for you lovely ladies will focus on one or two specific drills to improve your dinks, volleys, overheads, serves and returns. The second 45 minutes will be guided games to implement whatever skill was instructed this week.

NOTE: this is NOT a “learn to play” group. You are attending to play with similar skilled players - have fun!
