Celebratory Brunch Picnic

Chester Humanists is 21 this year - 21 years since the groups first meeting!

Bring your own picnic* and come and sit with some friendly folk - share some smiles and chat about life - we're encouraging everyone to bring (and wear) decorated hats - lets spread a little joy. It is a very informal gathering - should run until 1pm (ish)

It is a great weekend to visit Chester - not only is it Chester Humanist's 21st it is also the Summer Solstice, World Humanist Day, Father's Day and the weekend of the Great Get Together which tries to help us all feel together in memory of Jo Cox - let's show that

“We have more in common than that which divides us”.

And!!! - in Chester City Centre from 2:00 the Mid-Summer Watch Parade will provide a fabulous visual spectacle.

*please be aware that Chester's byelaws prohibit the consumption of alcohol in public spaces and no BBQs should be used in the park .
