About us

Chiang Mai Chess Group is a friendly, social community for anyone who enjoys chess, from complete beginners to experienced players.
We meet regularly in Chiang Mai to play chess, meet new people, learn from each other, and have a good time. There’s no pressure and no minimum skill level just turn up, grab a board and play.
Our regular meetup is every Wednesday from 6 PM–9 PM at Yellow Garden (Yellow Coworking). Feel free to bring your own chess board, although boards are usually available.
Whether you live in Chiang Mai, are new to the city, or are just visiting, you’re welcome to join.
