This group is for fans of Japanese anime, manga, and media. We gather to discuss our favorite shows, share recommendations, and more.

We hope it provides a safe space for people who like all things anime, including cosplay, gaming, and geek culture. With this group, you can expect events like conventions, films at local theaters, seasonal anime screenings, arcade nights, and more!

This is a casual hangout event for those attending the Umbrella Arts Festival. This outdoor street fest offers everything from sizzling Asian eats to lively performances! • The Umbrella Arts Festival is a celebration of Asian American history, culture and art. The umbrella symbolizes the Asian American diaspora which includes a diversity of ethnicities from over 40 Asian, South Asian, Southeast Asian and Pacific Island countries around the world, and is inclusive of the many intersections of identities that exist in our communities. We're gonna walk around & eat/chat.About Ribfest Chicago:
Around since 2000, Ribfest Chicago is a three-day event in the Northcenter neighborhood dedicated towards the act of eating a great rack of ribs! There'll be rib vendors, general entertainment, & a whole lot of people! The vendors selling food range from local Chicagoans to out-of-state restaurants! All of them (hopefully) DELICIOUS!Note on Admission:
- Admission into the festival is 100% free, though gate attendees will standby to collect donations.
- These donations are used to invest right back into the Northcenter community & help support their local schools, nonprofit organization, economic development, & greening efforts!
