White Elephant Potluck Party @ Beermiscuous (Lake View)

Happy Holidays y'all,

We're having a festive fun time with drinking & eating at Beermiscuous. Feel free to bring food & a "wacky" gift.

FYI: This event has been created with 35 RSVP slots.
• We ask that folks who know they can't make it ahead of time to cancel their RSVPs so that others capable can attend.
• Our group is not normally strict on RSVPing, but we want to ensure that no-shows avoid taking up limited space.

About White Elephant
The party starts at 6:00pm, but we'll start White Elephanting at around ~7:00pm.
• If you're unfamiliar with White Elephant, you essentially bring a gift with the expectation that anyone can get it.
• We'll gather in a circle & go from person to person. When it's your turn, you can either choose a wrapped gift from the pile or steal an already-selected gift from someone!

White Elephant Gift Guidelines
For this White Elephant, please bring a wrapped gag gift valued at $20 or less.
• We've had some ZANY gifts before (wacky shirts, handsome bodypillows, the usual deal).
• We're all adults here, but if you have any concerns about bringing any especially odd gifts, feel free to reach out privately.

Schedule
• 6:00pm: Arrival, eating, setting up gifts.
• 7:00pm: White Elephant! Afterwards, resume partying.
• 9:00pm: Cleanup & take home leftovers.

About Beermiscuous
Beermiscuous is a 'coffee shop'-styled bar with a huge selection of cans & craft beer.
• Outside alcoholic drinks are not allowed, but food & nonalcoholic drinks (water & soda) are permitted.
• We'll be meeting in Beermiscuous' basement area, so find the stairs near the right of when you first enter the bar.
