Umbrella Arts Festival (Evanston)

READ THE CHAT,_ we're first gonna meet-up @ Davis Station for ~15 min & then go to the event at 12:00pm~12:10pm.

This is a casual hangout event for those attending the Umbrella Arts Festival. This outdoor street fest offers everything from sizzling Asian eats to lively performances! We'll wander the fest, chat, & grab food/drinks along the way. Whether you’re new to the group or a regular, this is a laid-back way to meet new people with similar interests!

About Umbrella Arts Festival 2026:
• The Umbrella Arts Festival is a celebration of Asian American history, culture and art. The umbrella symbolizes the Asian American diaspora which includes a diversity of ethnicities from over 40 Asian, South Asian, Southeast Asian and Pacific Island countries around the world, and is inclusive of the many intersections of identities that exist in our communities. The festival is free and for all ages!

Schedule:
• 11:45 am: So that folks can group-up & talk for a bit instead of struggling to find one another, let's meet at the Davis station.
• 12:00 pm ~ 12:10pm: We'll clutter up as a group & enter the fest. I'll send updates about available spots to hangout at in the Meetup comments.
