About Press Start:
• Hosted by our friends at Second City Gaming (SSG), Press Start is an inclusive hangout event centered around making connections with folks that share a love of video games.
• SCG will have plenty of game consoles & some board games set up throughout the space alongside an open bar.
• But even if you're not a super duper big anime or gaming nerd, feel free to come & connect w/ folks on any of your hobbies, interests, & experiences!

About Second City Gaming:
• ​SCG is a nonprofit org focused on creating a gamer network in Chicago that can make positive impacts for the wider community.
• You can take a look at their projects on their website, which includes funding & support for high schools, hospitals, & relief efforts.

About The Insect Asylum:
• Opened in 2022, the Insect Asylum is a nonprofit taxidermy & entomology museum featuring a collection of over 4,500 insects & several (adoptable) critters.
• I don't imagine we'll be seeing many of the live critters during the party, but their normal business hours allow visitors to touch & hold some very interesting creatures!
• The museum mixes art with nature, & holds educational events for both kids & adults.
