·OnlineOnlineMiss Giddens, an inexperienced and devoutly religious woman, is hired by a wealthy bachelor to serve as governess for his orphaned niece, Flora, and nephew, Miles, at his vast country estate, Bly Manor. The uncle demands total authority over the household and insists she handle all affairs without ever contacting him. Upon arriving at the estate, Miss Giddens is instantly charmed by the ethereal Flora, but eerie undercurrents quickly emerge. Soon after, Miles is expelled from his boarding school for being a corrupting influence, a troubling event that belies his polished and precocious charm.
