Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho" on the Big Screen

Details
Psycho (1960) is probably Alfred Hitchcock’s most famous movie. Even people who are unfamiliar with Hitchcock or classic films in general have heard about it. Filmed on a shoestring budget—in black and white—with Hitchcock’s television crew, Psycho was the polar opposite of the director’s last movie, North by Northwest, which was a glamorous, big-budget, Technicolor tour-de-force. The film features stand-out and career-defining performances from Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh, who was nominated for an Academy Award as Best Supporting actress. The film also stars Vera Miles, John Gavin, and Martin Balsam.
