Hike @ Potawatomi Woods (Wheeling) + Lunch @ Alice & Friends (Glenview)

Another morning hike followed by lunch! Join use for one or both activities. 🙂

Hike (easy) & meeting location
We'll have a leisurely walk on the Des Plaines River Trail starting from "Potawatomi Woods Picnic Grove" in Wheeling. That location should come up in your GPS. It's on Dundee Road, just east of Milwaukee Avenue. Park in the first area after you turn in off of Dundee Road. The trail isn't paved, but it's a flat, well-groomed crushed limestone trail that is mostly shaded. We'll do a casual out and back for as far as people are comfortable

Meeting time
Meeting time is 10:00am. We'll wait till 10:10am, and then we'll start walking north. If you get there after 10:10am, you might still be able to catch up with the group. Feel free to comment and maybe someone in the group can let you know where/how far we are.

Lunch
After the walk (at approximately noon) we'll meet at Alice & Friends at the Glen, located at 2071 Tower Drive, Glenview. It's about a 15-minute drive to the restaurant from the hike. More info here: https://aliceandfriendsvegankitchen.com
