PostgreSQL Meetup
Details
Dear Chicago PUG members,
Our next meetup is scheduled for June 14 at 5-30 PM at DRW Training center at 540 W. Madison, 25 floor.
A couple of reminders:
-This is a high-security building, which means the names of all participants should be communicated no later than 8 AM on the day of the event, and all participants must present a government-issued id to be admitted. Registration for all in-person events will be closed by 7-30 AM the day of the event.
- The food order will be placed two days before the event, so I strongly encourage everybody planning to attend to RSVP by June 12.
-If you want to attend virtually, please use this link to register.
Please RSVP here only if you are attending in person.
In response to popular demand, we invited Jerry Sievers to continue talking about known features of well-known Postgres tools. Everybody enjoyed his presentation at our May meetup, and we are looking forward to learning more! Also, the floor will be open to 5-min Lighting Talks; feel free to share cool things you are doing with Postgres!
Agenda:
- Hettie, DRW: Updates on upcoming PostgreSQL events
- Jerry Sievers, Enova: You think you know everything about psql and bash? Think again! - Part 2
- Lighting talks
- Q&A and networking
The doors will open at 5-30, with food arriving at the same time, and the talks will start promptly at 6 PM.
Please be on time! You might not be able to get in on the 25th floor after 6!
As usual, I hope to see as many of you as possible in person!
Hettie Dombrovskaya,
Chicago PUG Local Organizer
