PostgreSQL Meetup with Bruce Momjian

Dear Chicago PUG members,

Our next meetup is scheduled for September 19 at 5-30 PM at the DRW Training Center 540 W. Madison, 25 floor.

A couple of reminders:

-This is a high-security building, which means the names of all participants should be communicated no later than 8 AM on the day of the event, and all participants must present a government-issued id to be admitted. Registration for all in-person events will be closed by 7-30 AM the day of the event.
- The food order will be placed two days before the event, so I strongly encourage everybody planning to attend to RSVP by September 17.

On September 19, our guest speaker will be Bruce Momjian! Bruice had presented at Chicago PUG before, but it has been a while since the last time he presented in person, and we can't wait to welcome him again! I hope everybody is as excited as I am.

Talk title: What's new in Postgres 16?

About the speaker:

Bruce Momjian is a co-founder and core team member of the PostgreSQL Global Development Group and has worked on PostgreSQL since 1996. He has been employed by EDB since 2006. He has spoken at many international open-source conferences and is the author of PostgreSQL: Introduction and Concepts, published by Addison-Wesley.

The doors will open at 5-30, with food arriving at the same time, and the talks will start promptly at 6 PM.
