If you'd like to get in some board gaming after work, join us for our weekly Board Game Happy Hour(s) from 5:30-8pm. Bring your own games, or make use of our demo library. Copies of the latest releases are constantly being added to the collection, so it's a great opportunity to try something new. Beginners are always welcome! Tabletop gaming, fun movies, craft beer, and great people! Tabletop Tuesdays is a weekly event held at Durty Nellie's West Irish Pub in Palatine, right off of the Metra (Pacific Northwest). We play all sorts of different games. Some of the popular titles include Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, Lords of Waterdeep, Iliad, Legendary, The Resistance, King of Tokyo, and SO many others. There are usually over 200 games there and we generally have from 70+ gamers attending each time! We play from 6:00PM all the way until midnight. Can't make it early in the evening? Show up late! Many of our members do exactly that. Durty Nellie's serves food until 10:00PM, offers a late night food menu until 2:00AM, and has a MASSIVE craft beer selection (over 25 taps and over 100 bottles). Plenty of parking available - free parking in the garage after 5:00PM. Feel free to come by, grab a pint, rolls some dice / play some cards / collect some cubes, watch some flicks, and meet-up with some fantastic other people!
Welcome to board gaming in the south loop. We'll be at Kroll's South Loop with plenty of games to play and hopefully plenty of good times. I'm Nick, and I'll be bringing as many games as I can stuff into my bags. Everyone is more than welcome to bring they're own as well. As always new players are more than welcome to come as myself and many others are always willing to teach games. No matter if you're a local in the south loop, getting off work downtown, or want to make the trip from elsewhere we'd love to see you. Kroll's is easy to find, located at the corner of 18th Street and South Michigan Avenue. If you're coming from the loop you can easily take the number 1, 3, or 4 bus routes to a stop just across from the restaurant. The same applies for those coming from up the south. Otherwise, the restaurant is located between the Roosevelt and Cermak Red Line stops. Metered parking is also available and generally easy to find. Kroll's is a laid back sports bar and restaurant with American fare dining. It also boasts a considerable beer list of 99 beers. Below is a list of all the games I own. If there's something you'd really like me to bring, let me know in the comments section. http://www.boardgamegeek.com/collection/user/Radical1905?own=1&subtype=boardgame&ff=1
