Trick-Taking Games at District Brew Yards

Hello friends! Join me for Trick-taking games at District Brew Yards, a game-friendly beer house in West Town, Chicago. They have a beautiful space, casual atmosphere, great lighting, yummy BBQ, free parking, a shaded patio, and additional board games to play. There's no pressure to drink or order food, for those on a budget, but we do encourage supporting the venue when you can.

If you're not familiar with trick-taking/shedding games, think Hearts, Spades, and Uno, but with modern gaming influences. Easy to learn and play. If you like card games, you're sure to have fun. I'll bring my large stack of trick-takers, card-shedders and other light card games, including Scout, Fishing, Tax the Rich, Trick to the Futures, Three Tricky Pigs, Shortstack, Nosoku Dice + others.

If you plan on drinking, you'll check-in when you arrive (not necessary if you're just getting food). This place has multiple taps and you pay by the ounce. Lillie's BBQ has some great comfort food and is in the same space, at a separate walk-up counter. Even if you're on a budget you can get a Kool-aid pickle for just $1!
