Come on out and hack!
Let's try the Mechanize gem that helps with accessing data through web pages. We can use it to fetch pages, click links, fill out and submit forms, scrape data, and many other useful things. If you've got an idea for some data you want to get from a web page your pair can try it.
All levels of Ruby expertise are welcome, including beginners. We'll pair up to do the Ruby coding.

Just bring yourself and a laptop with Ruby installed. Save time by installing the gem before the meetup. Note that this gem requires Ruby versions 1.8.7 and higher.
gem install mechanize
or on some machines
sudo gem install mechanize
