Nederland Hike + Pizza! (flat, 4.8 miles)

Crisp air, crunchy leaves — grab your flannels and emotional support water bottles, because it's time for a fall hike! Let's do the Delonde and Bluebird Loop up in Nederland (4.8 miles). The trail starts from the Caribou Ranch Open Space parking lot and winds through some beautiful meadows, along a river, and up into an old mining site. It's pretty flat, and there's a small chance we may catch some late fall color!

We'll go slow and take plenty of breaks along the way. I'm rehabbing an injury, so I am not out here to set any land speed records.

On the way back, we'll grab lunch at Crosscut Pizzeria in Nederland.

• We love dogs, but please leave your furry friend at home for this one.
• For anyone interested in joining the carpool, we'll leave the Boulder Justice Center parking lot at 9:05 am. That will put us at the trailhead around 9:40.
