Four Mile Creek Trailhead Hike (5 miles, hilly)
Details
Let's do some winter hiking in some potentially summer-like weather! Starting at the Four Mile Creek Trailhead (on Lee Hill Dr. in Boulder), we'll do two lollipops - first north out of the trailhead to hit the Hogback Ridge loop, and then heading south out of the trailhead to hit the Old Kiln trails (approx. 5 miles total with 1,160ft of elevation gain). We'll go slow and take plenty of breaks along the way. Come join for a fun, chill day out - again, enjoying the insane, unseasonable weather currently forecasted!
Important Notes:
- We love dogs, but please leave your furry friend at home for this one.
- Please be sure to check the weather before joining - currently the forecast is for 79 degrees (!!!) but, as we all know, that can change very quickly here in Colorado!
- Please be sure to bring any water/snacks you may want or need.
- If the weather and/or trail conditions are looking particularly crummy, I'll make a call the morning of whether we will reschedule.
