Cozy Walk on the Clinton River Trail
Details
Ready to soak up the warm weather? Join us for a relaxed and social walk along the Clinton River Trail – a perfect way to meet new people, get some exercise, and enjoy the sunshine!
The Clinton River Trail spans 16 miles across five different cities, offering beautiful views along the way. You can walk, bike, or even fish on the trail. Friendly dogs are welcome too, so feel free to bring your four-legged buddy along!
Pets: As long as they're behaved, feel free to bring them!
Allergy note: If you have severe pet allergies, message the host in advance so we can coordinate seating/placement.
WHERE TO MEET:
Letica Drive Trailhead – parking lot off Letica Dr, just south of South Blvd, Rochester Hills.
(Approximately near the 2-mile marker of the trail.)
Overflow parking: If the lot is full, you can park at the OPC Social & Activity Center. it’s a 10-minute walk to the trailhead.
WHEN WE START WALKING:
- Please arrive by 11:00 AM to park, greet, and use restrooms if needed.
- We begin walking at 11:10 AM.
Can’t make it exactly at 11:10? No problem – I’ll post live updates in the comments as we go (e.g., “we’re at mile 2,” “passing mile 3”). You can catch up to us along the trail.
Turnaround time: Around 12:35 PM we’ll turn back toward our cars. If you’re behind us, we’ll meet you then!
RESTROOMS:
Restrooms (porta-potties) are available on the trail.
Bring your own hand sanitizer – conditions vary.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Water / sports drink – Stay hydrated and avoid cramps.
- A small bag – So you don’t have to carry your drink the whole time. Handy for a portable charger too, in case your phone dies.
- Sunscreen – we'll be outside on a sunny day; never a bad idea to protect your skin.
- Hand sanitizer – Always good to have on hand.
THINGS TO TALK ABOUT:
Share something that’s been on your mind, a recent achievement, or whatever comes to mind – we’ll have plenty of time to chat.
I look forward to a chill, active afternoon with everyone! Can’t wait to see you there.
