Experience a spectacular light show projected onto the Market Hall, created by internationally renowned projection art company Illuminos, as part of the Animate Chesterfield Programme.

Alongside the show, enjoy live music from local musicians, excellent street entertainers, free craft workshops, UV face painting, and a night market.

A giant 35m observation wheel will also be in New Square, and will stay in the Square for three weeks after the event. During Chesterfield Glow Up it will be joined by other fun fair rides including a classic carousel and vintage helter-skelter.
There is a Bus Bar in the main Market Square.
On Saturday, the music, market and funfair will be open from 12pm, with other elements starting at 4pm.
You can also expect free UV face painting, an exciting entertainment schedule and a night market.

The itinerary is we meet at Sheffield train station at 15:15 and get the 15:35 train which takes roughly 10min. The tain fare is £7.30 altogether as an open return - please purchase it in advance via trainline.
From Chesterfield train station it takes approx 12 min walk to where to the cafe/lounge bar is located. The table is booked for 4pm, and where the events are taking place.
If anyone is wanting to drive to Chesterfield please message me separately.

After the light show at 7pm i’ll probsbly be heading back to Sheffield, however If anyone wants to stay out after the event ends feel free to.
